Giggleswick School, Settle, North Yorkshire, BD24 0DE, offers superb rehearsal and performance facilities in idyllic surroundings.
Whilst basic instrumental tuition is not provided, we endeavour to provide for each student, whatever his or her level of skill, the opportunity to improve and develop through a variety of ensemble work. It is hoped that each student will take away renewed enthusiasm for his or her discipline together with inspirational experiences to remember all year.
There are numerous opportunities to perform in formal and informal concerts, and collaboration across courses is actively encouraged. Students are also encouraged to get together with like-minded colleagues to form their own self-organised groups to play outside of the timetabled sessions.
