  • Am I good enough

The answer is, probably, yes! We don't expect our students to audition and indeed pride ourselves on bringing the very best out of our students whatever their level of achievement. Although we do not stipulate a "lowest" standard, we have found that the general standard of the school is improving each year as many students return. We usually specify an approximate ability range, where appropriate, which will help you choose your course, but once happy with that – and we will gladly offer advice - nobody need feel that they are competing with anyone except themselves. Where a course is particularly demanding we say so, and our carefully selected tutors are expert at giving equal attention and respect to everyone. So don't be shy!

Yes, our bar is provided by the local pub and is open between 7pm and 11pm every evening.

  • Can I bring a friend

While some people prefer to come to M4P summer school on their own, we are happy to host non participating partners. They may wish to come to evening concerts and dances which take place throughout the week and all day Friday.

  • Is the school accessible to wheelchair users

The site is hilly and as accommodation and classroom blocks are some distance apart, it is not ideal for those with mobility difficulties. Some classes take place in upstairs rooms and unfortunately there are no lifts. Please contact us on 0800 023 5631 to discuss any accessibility issues.

"And this shall be for a bond between us: that we are of one blood you and I; that we have cried peace to all and claimed fellowship with every living thing; that we hate war and sloth and greed, and love fellowship, and that we shall go singing to the fashioning of a new world." William Morris.
