Patrons: Matthew Barley, Ben Goldscheider, Howard Goodall CBE, Claire Martin OBE, Rachael McShane
Spring is sprung the Snowdrops is riz, I wonder where my M4P is? We hope you have received your 2020 M4P Brochure in the post . If not, please let us know your up to date contact details admin@m4p.org.uk We are of course online at www.m4p.org.uk
Bookings are coming in fast as everyone is obviously keen to take advantage of the Early Bird Discount which ends on 27th April. So make sure you get your application and deposit to us before then. As we usually say, Book early to avoid disappointment as some class numbers are capped.
We are excited to announce that M4P has a new patron! If you follow BBC Young Musician, you will remember Ben Goldscheider's amazing performance on the French horn in the same final as Jess Gillam and Sheku Kanneh-Mason. His career has taken off since then, and he is already a big name in the classical music world.
“I am delighted to become a Patron for M4P. Their mission statement, expressing the value of music in wider society, echoed very strongly with my own personal feelings regarding music and education. I have spent the last four years studying music and the humanities side by side and so have been active in seeing these parallels. I look forward to working with this charity and hope that even in some small way, my involvement can help in bringing these values to a wider audience.”

We are delighted to welcome back Lauren Kinsella (Contemporary Voice) and Rob Gildon (Opera/Music Theatre Performance) this year. Also joining us is Drummer and Horn player Ben McCabe in the Jazz team and Oboist Jenni Britton in the Wind department.
Unfortunately the tutor Graeme Leak has just told us he will not be coming due to being offered a performance opportunity throughout the Edinburgh Festival leading to an International tour. Rhythm Orchestra 1 and 2 are very much Graeme's personal projects and as such we will therefore not be running these courses.
Alas after nine consecutive years with M4P Pete Lee won’t be able to join us this year as he will be touring the USA with Tom Walker. Pete says he’ll be gutted not to be there! So we welcome a new accompanist for Lauren this year, Matt Robinson who comes highly recommended https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rJEZl_bqe1g and works regularly with Lauren.
Thank you to everyone who made a donation to M4P at Summer School, especially if you found some interesting music or instrument from Jennie Vaughan’s estate that you will play and remember her by. Don’t forget if you are a tax payer you can gift aid your donations and increase their value by 25%. You may wish to make regular donations by Standing Order. Our details are on the website
