Bring a friend and get £50 off!

When we ask people how they heard of M4P, the most popular answer is ‘A friend told me’. So, to encourage friends to bring a friend who has not been to the Summer School before, we are offering a £50 discount again this year. So don’t delay, go on and ask that friend you spoke to when you came back from last years’ summer school and told them what a great time you had!

Bursaries – Free places

M4P is offering the equivalent of a total of FIFTEEN FREE BURSARIES to give away this year! The deadline for applications is 27th April. Do please let anyone know who might be interested, or apply yourself. Scholarship Form https://www.m4p.org.uk/resources/PDFs/M4P-Bursaries-2019.pdf

New Courses and Tutors

If you have already looked at the Brochure, whether it was one you were sent or our online brochure Website https://www.m4p.org.uk, you will see that we have new courses and new tutors.

We are very happy to welcome Graeme Leak to our tutoring team. He is introducing new courses, “Make & Play Orchestra” and “Rhythm Orchestra” to our list of courses.

Also, we are delighted to add Rachel Broadbent to our Woodwind Team as a double reeds specialist.

Rob Gildon, our very popular “Solo Singing”, “Opera/Music Theatre Performance” and “Singing for the Terrified” tutor, is unable to join us for the 2019 School due to his other singing commitments. We are therefore seeking a replacement to continue these courses while he cannot be with us. We shall let you know when we have a replacement tutor in place.

Posters and brochures

If you are part of a musical group and you’d like to give out some brochures or put up a poster then please e-mail requesting some to be sent to you. Please include your name and address in the e-mail. admin@m4p.org.uk Also downloadable from the Website https://www.m4p.org.uk (see the blue box front page)

New Committee Members

As you know the entire school is organised by a dedicated band of volunteers. The current committee would like to be able to hand the school onto the next generation in good order for the future. The school needs to constantly evolve to meet student needs. To do this we need some younger blood in the form of some new committee members. So if you would like to offer some of your spare time to take on a few duties then please contact Jill Snowdon at jill@m4p.org.uk or Kevin John at kevin@m4p.org.uk

Donations

Thank you to everyone who made a donation to M4P at Summer School, especially if you found some interesting music or instrument from Jennie Vaughan’s estate that you will play and remember her by. Don’t forget if you are a tax payer you can gift aid your donations and increase their value by 25%. You may wish to make regular donations by Standing Order. Our details are on the website
